It’s cheap, it’s lively, it’s got a skate halfpipe in the backyard (a rarity in these parts) plus live music on a Saturday – what more could you ask for from a surf beach bar?
Tortilla Flats supposedly started as a pitstop for passing surfers on Dominical Beach but has fast become one of the most well-known food joints in Costa Rica.
We recommend grabbing a seat on the terrace in view of the surf and ordering some fried calamari with one of their awesome mai tais.
