If a blind person told you that wanted to surf the most dangerous wave in the world, you’d probably think they were out of their mind. But Brazilian surfer Derek Rabelo is out there to prove it’s possible.

The 20-year-old was born blind, but has always harboured the dream of surfing the North Shore of Hawaii. This film shows his three-year battle to ride Pipeline, inspiring everyone from Kelly Slater to Laird Hamilton with his determination.
