If you’re not only old enough, but cool enough to remember the late, great radio DJ John Peel, you probably know that he occasionally played records at the wrong speed. Often, the music he played was so weird that being played faster or slower than originally intended actually made it sounds better.

Bizarrely, the same kind of thing has happened in this surf edit. The dude, going by the name of Surf~a~Billy, dancing along his longboard has been played at something like one-and-a -half times normal speed. The result is this almost otherworldly looked footage that’s like nothing we’ve seen in a long, long time.
