Putting survivors of traumatic submarine incidents to one side, for a moment, it’s fair to say that pretty much everyone in the world loves a good water-fight. And, if this footage is anything to go by, it’s fair to say that the people of South Korea would probably agree with that statement.
There’s just so much to love about this video, we don’t really know where to start. The giant slip ‘n’ slide in the middle of the street, the big-time party music, the most epic water fight ever, the bit where Father Christmas loses his sh*t and dances like he’s ingested one too many pharmaceutical-Smarties; it’s all just super great.
The third Sinchon Water Gun Festival was held, in Seoul, on July the 25th. Sinchon, it would seem, is the cool bit of South Korea’s capital city; the place where all the hipsters go to have a good time. And, my oh my, what a good time they seem to have.
No prizes for guessing who sponsored the event. This video is literally plastered in logos for Sprite. Sprite just there, Sprite here, Sprite way over at the back there; Sprite, Sprite, Sprite. If you look closely at the participants, there’s even a load of stick-on Sprite tattoos on show (we presume their stick-ons).
Anyway, we’re off…to buy a Sprite…apparently.
