So let’s get straight to the point: there’s a company in Sweden called ‘Treehotel’ and they let you stay in a treehouse which is shaped like a giant UFO.

YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT AND IT’S NOT JUST THE UFO OPTION EITHER, THEY HAVE LOADS OF OTHER OPTIONS A WELL.

Treehotel is located in a tall pine forest with spectacular views of the Lule River, with the closest airport being Lulea. The tree rooms are suspended 4-6 metres above the ground and are accessible by ramp, bridge, or electric stairs.

Treehotel offers a unique hotel experience; basically it’s a bunch of different treehouses in all sorts of shapes and sizes, beautifully and uniquely designed in a setting perfect for letting the stress blow away and sitting back to embrace the nature.

The range on offer includes not only the UFO, but also a stunning cabin, beautiful ‘Mirrorcube’, a fantastic ‘Bird’s Nest’ and more, including ‘The Dragonfly’ and ‘Blue Cone’.

The concept took into account ecological values when building to make minimal environmental impact on the surrounding area. The cabins are built using material and construction techniques that make as little environmental impact as possible. They build on live trees without destroying the tree and do not chop down any trees or damage nature at all while building.

Each tree room is well insulated and has underfloor heating, while electricity is supplied locally from green hydroelectric power, and lighting consists of low-energy LED systems.

The activities on offer while you’re staying in your treehouse home are absolutely mesmerising as well; from full-day hikes of the nearby Korgen nature reserve to Northern Light hunting, mountain biking, white water rafting, kayaking and even going on Moose Safari. MOOSE SAFARI.

If anyone wants to take us here, please get in contact immediately and we’ll love you forever.
