The Wild Issue

June 2016

For June’s long reads we’re going into the wild. We head off to Greenland, one of the world’s last wildernesses, in search of untracked powder and on the other side of the planet we explore the ultimate adventure destination, New Zealand. Closer to home we find an underground a cave so big it boasts a zipline and get on our bikes in search of untouched surf spots. We investigate the thorny issue of canned lions who are bred to be shot in Africa and talk to urban explorers in Ukraine who spend their time uncovering the wild underbelly of the cities they live in. This month’s big interview is with none other than Heston Blumenthal, who tells us about his wilder side and his love for the outdoors. Keep your eyes peeled for these stories and more dropping throughout June. You can have a look at our other monthly issues here…
