It’s the stuff of dreams; being able to roll out of bed, onto your bike and ride the day away.
It’s the reason so many people chasing passion over paychecks set up shop in resort towns or remote areas of our wonderful planet, turning away from bustling city life for tantalising trails.
But even that isn’t quite enough for some folk. Whether out of necessity from having a lack of other options or just an urge to fulfil a lifelong dream, some people go to serious extremes to bring the trails one step closer; or to build trails one step from their back door to be more exact.
