Cliche skateboards ‘Where’s Cliche?’ UK Tour FULL EDIT

Since its inception in Lyon, France, in 1997, Jeremie Daclin’s Cliché Skateboards has blossomed to become one of the skateboarding world’s most unique and highly regarded brands. The company lends its distinctive style to the sport to great effect, and Jeremie and his ever expanding and evolving team have tirelessly sought out new hotspots in some unlikely places, changing the geographical scope of skateboarding forever.

Here we join some of them on their 2014 tour of the UK. The lads hit up Manchester and the North West, Nottingham, Ideal in Birmingham, and London. Along the way they show off some of their most radical street skating moves (much to the amazement and horror of certain by-standers), as well as hitting the UK’s skateparks hard. The footage shot at London’s South Bank and at legendary West London skate shop Slam City Skates is especially good to see, props to the lads for lending their support to these vital institutions.

The film features Max Geronzi, Flo Mirtain, JB Gillet, Lucas Puig, Kyron Davis, Leo Sharp and Jeremie Daclin himself, all of whom are on excellent form. Lucas in particular shows off some incredible rail slides which have to be seen to be believed. Cliché are all about bringing new talent on board though, so plenty of local skaters get a chance to show off their skills alongside the team’s big names. There’s also some fairly intense skipping action throughout, which is great for upper and lower body strength, apparently, although if it whets your appetite for a Cliché Skateboards skipping video you’ll probably be waiting a while.
