It’s tough being a rad dad. You have a kid, and quite naturally want to share the stoke with it from as early an age as possible. But from day one you’re walking the fragile line of not being a dick about it, and sometimes sailing right past it as this notorious skate ramp dad did.
Or at the very least you’re being too pushy and trying to turn your favourite sport into football and/or a beauty pageant.
But some dads just get it right. Like the pair in this video. The fathers of 2-year-old Kinsley and 4-year-old Emma honestly seem like decent dudes who just want their kids to have fun.
It helps that the pops can shred too. Especially yellow jacket dad, who rides in powder, off kickers and even tosses (and catches!) his clearly-beaming toddler into the air as he goes along.
We’re not sure we’d attempt the rail above a stairset he appears to take on with his daughter (though our office is also divided as to whether those bits are fake…) but then he’s shit loads better at riding than we are so that’s probably for the best.
