When these guys took a boat out, off the North East coast of America, they were drawn to the amount of seagulls flying in the sea just behind them.

With the words of former French football Eric Cantona ringing in their ears, they probably assumed it was because the seagulls expected sardines to be thrown in to the water. The reality, however, was much more spectacular.

Just beneath the waves was a pod of around 10 humpback whales who breached during feeding, quite understandably causing all on board the boat to lose their shit. After all, it’s not every day you see a a while group of Cretaceans putting on a show just meters away from you in the wild.

Then, in a scene reminiscent of a Hitchcock film, the hovering birds swooped, picking up the scraps left by the humpbacks, while the minds of the people on board the boat remained blown.
