Greece. It’s the country that’s given us democracy, philosophy, and feta cheese. And now they’re at it again, handing the world what might be the most beautiful skate bowl ever made.
It’s the work of Athens based artist Dimitris Liossis, and is part of an exhibition that’s been inspired by street art and skate culture.
The fully skateable bowl is pained in a style that joins graffiti and Renaissance era art seen on church domes – a union of two worlds not seen since Pope John Paul canonised Banksy in 2013.
While undoubtedly rad, the bowl does look a little tight, and we’re not sure how wise the mirrored column in the middle is. But, by shit, it looks nice.
