Can You Make Music From Building A BMX? This Guy Shows It’s Possible…

Music producer Sonny Blake makes some sick original sounds from a regular bike build...

Can you make music using only the sounds produced from building a BMX? It’s the age-old question that no-one ever asked, but it turns out that the answer is yes.

“I bet it’s shit though,” we hear you cry with a gasp of doubtful cynicism. Actually, it’s pretty awesome – and the film is shot and edited pretty sweetly as well. It’s weirdly hypnotic.

The edit comes from music producer and BMX rider Sonny Blake, and the soundtrack was made using only the original sounds from the video shoot.

The video description notes: “the sounds have been processed and manipulated with different FX and tools like reverbs, resonators, delays and more to achieve tonal and rhythmic parts for the final soundtrack.

“The task was to not use any other samples, sound generating sources, synthesizers or drum machines whatsoever.”

It’s an incredibly unique concept and one that Sonny and his team have managed to pull off surprisingly well. The riding isn’t half-bad either!
