You’ve got to be careful when you’re crossing roads on a mountain bike – or on a road bike, a BMX, a pedalo, a horse, a badger, a tricycle or on the back of your butler ‘Jeeves’ for that matter.
Cars can come out of nowhere, and while on this occasion everyone seems to have got out alright, that certainly isn’t always the case. The rider in question here seems to look both ways before crossing, but unfortunately for all involved, the car and bike then start moving at the same time, leading to disaster.
We’re not sure any one party is more to blame than the other here, but if you disagree let us know why in the comments, and either way, ride safe when you’re out on your bike.
