Must Watch: Sensational New Trailer Drops For Lance Armstrong Biopic ‘The Program’

"I am Lance Armstrong and I will not be brought down" - this is seriously, seriously intense...

The new trailer has dropped for ‘The Program’ – the upcoming biopic about little-known, rarely-talked-about former-cycling champion and pantomime villain Lance Armstrong.

In case you’re one of the many who has never heard of Lance, he’s the dude who won the Tour de France seven times then almost destroyed the sport of road cycling single-handedly when he admitted to having taken a heap load of drugs in order to do so.

The world of cycling got pretty freakin’ excited when the initial teaser dropped for this film, and with the release date on 16 October not far away at all now, there’s a whole lot more reason to get excited about the biopic now.

With Ben Foster looking on point as the leading protagonist and former IT Crowd – and resident Hollywood Irishman – Chris O’Dowd stepping in as journalist David Walsh, the film is set to be a stunner.

Rumour has it that Foster even hit the EPO himself when he was filming the part in order to get fully in the mindset of Armstrong – and surely claim a few Strava segments along the way – and there’s even talk of an Academy Award nomination on the horizon.

Our final thoughts? This could just be the inspiration the rest of us need to go out there, train hard, take a f*ck-tonne of EPO and leap to global fame. Wait… What? Forget we ever said that.
