Devised by german couple, Elkie & Peter Zpittvar, it was an extension of their passion for strapping into their harnesses, gripping on to rock hard things, and sliding their fingers into crevasses.

“It’s a way of getting closer to God”

The frisky pair have gone all the way and adapted regular climbing equipment to it looks a little more Anne Summers. Of course, Clucking is not without it’s risks, so it’s imperative that participants always wear protection.

The couple insist that this is no novelty act, however. Peter suggests that it’s a truly spiritual experience for them; “Clucking is a way of getting closer to God… There’s no better compliment to pay mother nature. It’s hard core. It’s fucking, hardcore.“
