So, you’ve clicked on the article. You’ve got this far. Then you’ve looked down below and seen that the video we’re asking you to watch here is actually 14 minutes long. Ugh.
The thing is though; we’re not going to sugar coat it for you. We’re not going to say ‘skip to X minutes in and watch this highlight’ or ‘the best bit doesn’t come until X seconds before the end’, because if we’re being honest, the whole thing is the best bit.
It’s a long video… but the whole thing is the best bit
We will however warn you that you don’t need to free up 14 minutes to watch this – you’re probably going to need more. If you’re really into your mountain biking, there’s a good chance you’ll end up watching this clip for double that time; pausing every minute to get your breath back and skipping back to repeat sections from Dan’s gnarly run.
The footage comes from stage five at the Enduro World Series in Whistler, and it shows just how skilful the elder Atherton really is on a bike. So, get your MTB gear on, give this a watch, then get out on your bike. That, ladies and gentlemen, is all that’s required to have a wonderful day well spent.
