Catch the Live Q&A with beach cleaning legend Martin Dorey from #2MinuteBeachClean last week? Of course you did. Are you confused about how we can do our bit to stem the outrageous amount of plastic that’s littering our beaches? Of course you are. Well, the good folk over at Surfdome are brining you another insightful Q&A, this time with plastic waste warrior Natalie Fee.
Natalie is behind the plastic waste initiative City to Sea, which, contrary to the #2MinuteBeachClean, looks to stem our reliance on plastic before it’s able to litter our waterways. City to Sea is behind many successful campaigns, one of which being ‘Switch the Stick’, which has saved over 400 tonnes of single-use plastic being used in cotton wool buds each year. The second is Refill – a free drinking water station project that has soon became Europe’s leading free tap water initiative.
The team over at Surfdome have long been partners with Natalie and her campaigns, and so they’re coming together in a live Q&A this evening. So, if you’ve got any questions that you’d like to throw Natalie’s way, then drop a comment on the Instagram post below to make sure they’re aired during the live stream. Otherwise, we’ll see you over on the Surfdome Instagram account @ 19:00 (GMT) this evening.
