Here at Mpora, we’re used to seeing some pretty disturbing stuff on the internet (think: bear eating dear, big insect getting pulled out of someone’s ear etc). But never, in all our days of browsing the internet for things to write about, have we ever come across a video quite as horrific as this. In short, it shows exactly what would happen if all of the world’s ice melted (and it’s not a pleasant watch).

Oceans rise, big cities drown, the planet we call home is changed irreversibly as the sea level elevates by a terrifying 216 feet. The dread-filled music doesn’t really help matters, adding to the sense that what we’re witnessing is humanity’s apocalypse (albeit, an animated version). If this video doesn’t make you think about global warming, nothing will.
