“The mud! We decided to roll in it every time we got to an obstacle and we were throwing it all over each other’s faces. We’d definitely do it again but they could do with much more mud.”

Angela: “I slipped on the tyres, which were the very first obstacle, so probably not that. The best bit was climbing, sliding and getting as filthy as possible.”

Charlotte: “When we got to the last obstacle there was a marshal getting the crowds cheering. As we got closer, I realised he was my next door neighbour, which was a bit surreal. He got everyone to give me a big cheer.”

“There was quite a lot of mud-flicking going down! There were 10 of us doing this event today and we’ve raised £1,000. The shower caps were a bit of fun, but they were also so that we could easily spot each other around the course.”
