2. Hummus
Good old hummus is rich in protein, can lower your cholesterol and contains enough folate to help reduce the risk of colon cancer. And it tastes damn good with warm bread.
Ingredients
- 425g chickpeas, cooked, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 ½ tablespoons lemon luice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon water
Method
1. Add all ingredients to your NutriBullet tall cup and extract for about 20 seconds, or until you reach your desired consistency.
2. Enjoy with fresh vegetables or crackers.
