Brett Rheeder vs. Brandon Semenuk. It’s the breathtaking battle between the two top riders in the mountain bike slopestyle scene, and honestly, we’d die quite happily if it went on forever. Who wouldn’t pay good money to see a 70-year-old Brett or Brandon nail a cork 720?
Anyway, the latest duel between the Canadian high-flyers came at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes in France last weekend, and Rheeder took the win with an unbelievable run you can check out below:
Now, Semenuk by no means put in a bad run in the French Alps. In fact, his 89.25 would’ve been enough to take the top spot at a lot of events. Safe to say that Brett’s 93.25 shown above blew everyone else out the water though.
The win means that Brett has now won both Crankworx events this season – the first being in Rotorua, New Zealand in March – and now has the chance to win $50,000 along with the triple crown if he can take the top spot in Crankworx’s homeland of Whistler this August.
We’re sure a certain Mr. Semenuk will have something to say about that though…
