Pokemon GO Mountain Biking | The World is Now Full of Pokemon Players Crashing Their Bikes

"Yesterday I met a man who broke his collarbone because he was playing Pokemon GO while mountain biking"

Pokémon GO is pretty much every 90s kid’s dream come true, and getting the gaming world outside to explore the roads, parks and back alleys around their city can only be a good thing, right?

Well, yeah. Mostly, anyway.

The thing is, there are always a few idiots when this kind of craze comes along that get far too into it and throw the negatives into the spotlight by being absolute bell-ends in the context of the game.

We’re of course talking about the kind of news stories we assume you’ve already come across; the folk walking off cliffs and getting hit by cars because they’re too busy trying to find a Pidgey; or the guys who walked lured some avid-Evee hunters in to get robbed.

We also raised concerns last week that hiking and cycling trails may take a bit of a beating and become overcrowded with Pokémon trainers not using them for purpose, and creating potentially harmful scenarios in the process.

So has it happened already? What do you think? Here are some of the most ridiculous road cycling and mountain biking Pokémon GO stories we’ve found on Twitter so far.
