Upside-Down Cliffhangers And Double Fronts: The Martin Söderström Invitational Was Absolutely Insane…

Anton Thelander took the top spot after an unbelievable day of riding in Sweden...

The Martin Söderström Invitational brought some awesome moves to Uppsala, Sweden last weekend – with ridiculous riding including a double front flip and a crazy upside down cliffhanger.

Spanish specialist Bienvenido Aguado Alba was hitting hard and hammered the huge double front you can check out above. Alba became the first person to land a double on a mountain bike a few years back, and he’s clearly not lost his talent for it.

The course was massive and the riders were revelling from the gargantuan kickers. In the end, Antoni Villoni took third place, stomping a huge double backflip and that crazy cliffhanger flip.

Nils Buller bagged second meanwhile, and Anton Thelander went home with gold after a run packed with flip whipping goodness.

Check out the short highlights reel above to get a sense for some of the madness!
