Cuzco to Machu Picchu
This 50-mile train journey can either be done backpacker style, with trains leaving the ancient Incan capital of Cuzco several times a day, or aboard the luxury Hiram Bingham train. The line snakes through the Andes past towering peaks and dramatic canyons to the spectacularly located ruined citadel of Machu Picchu.
