Someone’s Invented A Crazy New GoPro Mount… And It Goes In Your Mouth

Ever heard of a 'mouth mount'? It looks just as ridiculous as it sounds...

So you’ve just bought your first action camera and you’re keen to look like even more of a dickhead than everyone else.

But how is it possible? In a world where camera-addicts around the world are using selfie sticks to drive home the point that they’ve all got friends, is it even achievable to one-up the bell-endery?

Why, yes. Yes it is. Because now there’s such a thing as a GoPro ‘Mouth Mount’. A camera mount, you guessed it, that you hold in your mouth.

Just to confirm, this isn’t actually a joke. Or it might be, but if it is, it’s a joke that’s available for purchase from several retailers.

Now, we love GoPros – they bring us some of the sickest videos out there – and we can see how this new camera mount may be beneficial in certain circles. Action cameras have been known to fall off surfboards or wakeboards, and headstraps are unreliable in the water as well.

However, we’re not sure we’re ready to see the water overcome by boarders paddling out with a mouth-piece per person and a camera on the end. These could make the best surfer look like a dork.

MyGo, the company behind the video up top, claim that their latest mouth mount, “finally” brings an innovative bite-support system, and as well as being breathable can get you the best GoPro footage around.

We’re certainly not sold on the idea just yet, but can you see the mouth mount taking off across action sports? We’ll leave it to you to chew it over…
