What did you think about when the going got tough in Brighton Marathon 2015?

“I’m retiring from marathon running today – I’ve run five now – so I thought about running well, enjoying it and going out on a high.”

“That I never have to do this again. Ever. I’ll still run, but not 26 miles – that’s just a bit stupid.”

“My fiancé was there supporting me. He went to three different points so I counted the miles until I’d see him next.”
