You’ve got to admit, this Pepsi advert does get one thing right. Tt makes skating look like fun.

The annoyingly catchy jingle and sun drenched imagery must have got kids from the 1970s guzzling down carbonated sugar syrup by the gallon.

This family friendly offering also features some truly hilarious hairstyles, knee socks and skate tricks that don’t actually involve skateboards at all, as our wholesome young cast launch themselves up over the coping sans board.

At this point, the soundtrack goes into some sort of Gospel music breakdown. We’re treated to the only real skate trick of the entire advert (backside 360) followed by the world’s smallest ever ice hockey goalie trying to smash himself in the face with a board. What’s not to love?!
