This Incredible Video Shows What LA Would Look Like After The Apocalypse (With Added Skateboards)

You have to see this whether you like skateboarding or not...

Wow. This is one of the best skateboard videos – or just videos full stop – we’ve seen in a long time.

The eerily empty streets have a very post-apocalyptic vibe to them, as if everyone has been wiped out by a virus. In fact, it reminds us of nothing more than the classic intro sequence to Danny Boyle’s epic zombie flick 28 Days Later.

Apparently the makers – director Russell Houghton and his team – took a similar approach to shooting on deserted streets, taking to the Freeways of Los Angeles in the very early morning to ensure there were no cars around.

The video was originally released a few months back as part of the Redirect collaboration between skateboard site The Berrics and Red Cameras.
