It’s the eternal war – like Autobots and Decepticons, policemen and skateboarders have been battling it out since the dawn of time.
But now one policeman in Wisconsin is crossing the divide and extending an olive branch to skaters after centuries of busts, bollockings and arrests.
Yep, this cop has taken to riding a skateboard himself. Well actually it’s a longboard, but who’s splitting hairs? He’s even stuck flashing lights on it and everything!

According to this local TV new broadcast, “skateboard cop” as he’s inevitably been dubbed, is out to try and change perceptions of skaters and has been getting props from all the local kids. Or at least the local 10 year olds.
What do you think, could this catch on, or is this dude just a massive try-hard? Can you imagine British bobbies shralping their way around town?
