Whistler Blackcomb isn’t only a mecca for skiiers and snowboarders, it’s a party village like no other.

The Longhorn Saloon is a Whistler institution, located at the foot of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Drink copious amounts of BC brewed beer, served by the very friendly staff before getting on the dance floor to stomp those ski boots.

Merlin’s is just as popular après joint, famous for its nachos, cosy cabin-style decor and crazy party vibe. It’s also definitely worth stopping by Dusty’s for a plate of his famous BBQ ribs.

Local legend has it the bar was named after a stuffed horse called Dusty who used to sit behind the bar. Rumour has it a female raver stripped off and jumped on Dusty’s back – the animal came to life and bucked the woman out into the snow, before galloping off into the night.
