Morzine, France
The picturesque alpine town of Morzine transforms into après partiers’ dream come 3pm.
As the crowds slowly roll in off the mountain, the first stop is Bar Robinson’s or Robbos, a tiny French cafe run by two older folk. This is no Folie Douce but it’s always the most packed après bar in town. It only serves one beer, Mutzig, a strong lager that’s guaranteed to get you fired up for the evening ahead.
Further down the road, Le Rhodos is famed for it’s Toss The Boss nights, where you roll the dice and have your chance to win your round for free. Tibetan Bar attracts big crowds, as does the Cavern. If you happen to end up at the Ardent bubble, go get a drink in Happy Hours – you won’t regret it.
The big news for ravers who want to continue the après party into the early hours – famed club Le Paradis is re-opening this season under the owners of Rudechalets. Definitely going to rival the glorious L’Opera for dancefloor antics.
