Gone are the days when you can be branded a badass, simply by jumping out of an aeroplane.
Nowadays, skydivers are ten to the dozen and with everyone and their fundraising nan doing them, you need to go a bit further to impress. Step forward Sean MacCormac.
The professional skydiver took advantage of a thunderstorm above South Florida this week to attempt his latest stunt, ‘surfing’ through thunder, rain and lightning.
Bringing in a team of meteorologists and support divers, to track and measure the storm, before deciding to go ahead with the stunt.
The Red Bull extreme athlete spoke about the conditions post jump, saying “When the plane is rocking, lightning is firing off and lighting up the sky, every survival instinct you have is telling you not to jump,”
Take note skydivers, this is the new level of gnarly! Watch the dive below….
