After a month off to enjoy the more refined and relaxed pursuits of the Winter Olympics, the gnarliest freeriding competition in the world is back and bigger than ever.

Now into the second half of the 2014 tour and the standings are starting to take shape. Loic Callomb-Patton and Matilda Rapaport hold narrow leads in the freeskiing contests while Samuel Luebke and Shannan Yates have started to pull away on the snowboarding side of things.

The competition was delayed from the weekend due to one of the biggest avalanches in the area for two decades. A new location has been chosen in Snowbird and the athletes will be taking on the Silver Fox.

The action is kicking off today at 9:45 MST/16:45 GMT and you’ll be able to check out all the action on MPORA.
