As well as being the owner of the best name in woman’s surfing, Coco Ho is a serial wave slayer. She comes from some serious surfing lineage. Her dad, Michael Ho and uncle, Derek Ho are surf legends in their own right.

Having qualified for the Women’s Tour aged 17 and become a fan’s favourite and tour staple ever since, it’s fair to say that these days she’s well and truly stepped out of the older Ho generation’s shadow. There are few people more smooth and serene on the board.

Oh and lads, before you get too ahead of yourselves and book flights to Hawaii it’s worth remembering that Ho’s beau is no other than Mark McMorris. Unless you’ve got some X-Games medals, an MTV reality series and an Olympic bronze to your name you probably don’t stand a chance.
