Kelia Moniz is another surfer to come off the Hawaiian production line of talent. She’s only 19 but has already been with Roxy for nearly a decade. She’s made the step from grom to pro with ease and is starting to become an established name in the sport.

Moniz was educated on the beaches of Oahu by her parents – she learnt her times tables in the same place she caught her first waves. Rather than compete on the usual shorter women’s boards she’s a longboarder, and has all the laidback steeze that the discipline demands.

She’s still yet to make her big splash on the surf scene in terms of results, but she’s defintiely one to watch – 98,000 instagram users can’t be wrong! Kelia is also making a name for herself in the world of fashion and has become one of the global faces of Roxy, knocking it out of park on the water and on camera.
