It’s times like these…that we realise we couldn’t pay the mortgage

Foo Fighters-frontman Dave Grohl has put his beachfront surf pad up for sale for $2.995 million dollars, according to the property website Zillow.

Grohl, universally considered the “nicest guy in rock n roll”, had listed the prime Pacific Coast-property in Oxnard, California, just north of LA, a few years ago, and now it’s back on the market.

The beach location of Grohl’s pad with its stunning ocean views is clearly awesome but the interior vibeage isn’t quite what you’d expect from a radical rock star. They kind of shout chintzy hotel/dentist’s waiting room, leading us to believe Grohl hasn’t been here much lately. He may have even instructed someone to give it a nauseatingly palatable estate agent’s makeover.

Still if you’ve got a spare 3 mill, it’s worth a punt for the bragging rights, surf access and those views. Just prepare to redecorate.
