Canon 760D DSLR Travel Camera
Canon 760D DSLR Travel Camera
Canon’s 760D is still an entry-level DSLR but a bit of a step-up from the likes of the D3300 and the K-50 in terms of performance, making it a really handy travel camera. It also represents a step up in terms of price however.
Part of this is just the Canon premium – cameras made by the market leader tend to be a bit more pricey, but you also get plenty of decent features too.
This boasts a large 24 megapixel sensor, a 19-point autofocus system and innovations like Canon’s flicker detect, which compensates for flickering light sources like fluorescent bulbs.
This is by no means a pro-level camera – you’ll have to pay a lot more for that – but like all DSLR’s it’s a great introduction to the world of “proper” photography, putting a lot of the versatility that the world’s best travel photographers enjoy in your hands.
Price: £650
Good for: Image quality, versatility, build quality.
Not so good for: Bang for your buck – you pay a premium for Canon bodies and lenses.
