Canon Powershot S120 Compact Travel Camera Review
Canon’s Powershot range features the build quality you’d expect from the market-leading Japanese brand at prices that amateurs can afford.
The S120 is one of the smallest and lightest cameras they make, weighing just 217g making it perfect for carrying around in your pocket and so ideal for travelling.
But just because it’s small, doesn’t mean this camera doesn’t pack a punch – the ISO goes up to 12800 and the aperture down to f/1.8 making it excellent in low light especially for a camera at this price. It shoots full HD 1080p video too.
The lens effectively offers focal lengths of 24-120mm which is’t massive but the digital zoom adds to that. It also has nice touches like a manual focus ring, making it feel classy.
Price: £200
Good for: First time photographers, shooting in low light.
Not so good for: Single lens means it lacks versatility.
