If you want silly fun in the sun then I would put Dinghy’s Beach Bar pretty high on your list.
There are mermaid suits to lounge on the beach in, the instagram possibilities alone making me research flights, with sparkling shores and breathtaking views; this place is relaxed and quirky and full of family fun.

Here we have a wonderful atmosphere. Not as warm as the rest but for what it lacks in idyllic weather it makes up for in dramatic views!
Those skies are the most beautiful part of the OhSo Social Beach Bar, that and the student priced cocktails.

Babis bar is practically underneath a mountain looking straight out onto the Aegean sea. With cocktails. With cocktails and beautiful fresh seafood.
If somehow you also need something else to do, you can mountain climb up the side of said mountain, bringing this in at number eight of our favorite beach bars from around the world.

The Surf Side Bar checks all the boxes; beautiful view, amazing food and great live music! A bustling atmosphere of surfers and foodies, if you want to relax in the sun in Cornwall, Surf Side is definitely a place to seek out.

Rick’s Cafe/Bar is huge, bustling and has a wonderful, lively atmosphere, becoming magical when the setting sun hits the complex.
There is more of a festival vibe here at Rick’s, with lots of levels, a pool and everything set back into the mountain facing the sea and the sun.
Definitely come here if you like meeting relaxed people who like staying up late.

The Puri Santrian Bar is beautiful and relaxed with its sun, fun, pretty people and flowing cocktails, but the really exceptional aspect, the draw that brings them floating into the coveted number five spot of the list, has to be the floating sun loungers!
Yes, floating sun loungers! Make sure you stock up on booze and water, nibbles and someone funny or sexy or both and float away in your very own little sea born pavilion.

Total and complete luxury defines Beach Club One. If you need somewhere to unwind to a beautiful view and have a professional on hand to do anything and everything for you then this is the place.
Egg shaped swings hang from the palm trees, and there is beach spa for those who like someone else to take care of their tan. There is a swimming pool and an over the sea deck to continue the dream.

The heavenly Bayside Beach Bar will place you underneath almond trees with perfectly mixed cocktails and RSI from taking so many pictures of the view.
The forest covered mountain rising magisterially out of the ocean in the distance, and the palm covered beach huts, and infinate sky make this place a must if you end up anywhere near the Caribbean.
Guys at the next table – With so many movies having been filmed here don’t be surprised if you see Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow sauntering past for Pirates of the Caribbean 6.
Hidden in a mountain in Croatia you can either swim to reach Buza Bar, or scramble around the rocks behind the old town, where you will eventually find a small opening bringing you out straight onto the bar and the view. This not only means the clientele will all be determined and strong swimmers, but you will also have truly earned that first cocktail.
Whether you’re gearing yourself up to jump straight off the side of the mountain or you’re relaxing snapping the sunset, this bar will leave you feeling enchanted.

This is a hand made bar, in the middle of the sea, straight out of a fairy tale. You can wade out to it, or just walk if its low tide, but honestly the novelty of drinking in an idyllic house in the middle of the ocean just doesn’t wear off.
