Because we like to portray the Hydraulic Press Channel videos as being vaguely scientific, and not just some silly bollocks, we’ve decided to investigate what exactly constitutes a standard gummy bear. One speedy bit of Googling later, and we’ve learnt that the standard gummy bear contains a mixture of sugar (obviously), glucose syrup, starch, flavouring, food colouring, citric acid, and gelatine.

Our only concern, and it’s only a mild one in fairness, is that some gummy bears will see this video as the final straw in their ongoing subjugation to the humans. Filled with anger, and hatred for this particularly cruel kind of gummy bear sadism, they’ll rise up with tiny pitchforks (made of gelatine), overthrow governments, and instate their own gummy bear dictatorships upon the world.
