The WWF Stuck A GoPro On A Sea Turtle And Set It Loose In The Great Barrier Reef

A GoPro, a sea turtle, the Great Barrier Reef…and one really nice video.

Screen Shot: YouTube.

Remember Finding Nemo? Remember that film? Remember it? Remember how good it was? If you do, you’ll probably find this sea turtle GoPro clip even more enjoyable than the three people in the world who haven’t seen Finding Nemo.

The World Wildlife Fund (panda logo) have released a video of the Great Barrier Reef, and it’s comfortably the best video of the Great Barrier Reef that we’ve ever seen. It begins with a GoPro being strapped to a sea turtle. The creature then swims off, and shows us his underwater world from a turtle’s-eye-perspective.

The Great Barrier Reef, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest system of coral reefs. The video, which is part of a campaign, aims to raise awareness of the negative impact climate change and pollution is having on the reef’s various plants and animals.
