Peter Sagan launched a brilliant late attack to win the 2015 men’s World Championship road race in Richmond, USA.
The 25-year-old fan’s favourite broke free of the rest of the pack on the final climb with 2.8km left to go, and got an inevitably rapturous reception after crossing the line
He told press after the race that it was “the biggest win” of his career so far, and it’s safe to say that the cycling community was delighted to see the Slovakian finally claim a huge win for himself. Here’s how Twitter reacted…
