Every self-respecting human being should have seen Brandon Semenuk’s ‘One Shot’ by now – the four-minute, one shot video part with no cuts and no flaws. There’s a reason it’s being hailed as one of the greatest film segments in the history of mountain biking.

The one question that many people have been asking, though, is just how exactly it was possible to film a segment in such a way. What went on behind the scenes?

The description on the original YouTube video revealed “the uninterrupted shot was filmed by the most advanced gyro-stabilized camera system, the GSS C520, mounted to a truck on a custom road built next to a custom trail that took three weeks to build.”
