We’ve all been spending a lot more time on the internet, haven’t we? In the normal times, of course, you’d just check your three or four go-to websites before logging off and getting on with your day. The nature of lockdown though has meant we’re all constantly finding new rabbit holes to fall down; new roads to walk down, new paths to follow, new tangents to explore. Take these old videos from 2012 of a yellow bicycle getting beaten up by a tank. The footage exists, and we’re not sure why.

Does it matter that we’re not sure why this footage of a road bike getting beaten up by a tank exists? Does anything matter anymore? Maybe the video’s a metaphor? Maybe humanity is the road bike, and the tank is the global pandemic? Who knows? Who even cares? It’s something to watch and, after 4,783 lockdown days or whatever it’s been, it’s nice to know that there’s videos out there we still haven’t seen.
