MORE INFO

Armada has traditionally held on strong to their background in the freestyle industry. However, the Grands Jacket and Emmons Bib are perfect for ripping resort laps with the family or the softer stuff on the deep snow days beyond the ropes. This ski jacket and pants combo is the perfect gateway for anyone to buy into the company which has had such a prestigious history in revolutionising freeskiing.

Coming with a pretty affordable price tag, the Grands Jacket and Emmons Bib are packing a 3-layer construction for improved breathability on the mountain. This is specially important when you’re crushing park laps, or touring to the hidden powder stashes, all day and working up a sweat. This 3-layer construction also allows the jacket to be super-packable, in the event of it getting too hot. It will go down small enough into the bottom of your bag, without you even noticing its added weight.

You’ve got four pockets on the front of the jacket and one lift pass pocket included to give plenty of storage options. No one likes cramming a wallet, phone, keys and lunch into one tiny pocket do they?

Each of the pockets cater for all sorts of bits and bobs. We love added functionality and storage so we’re giving this aspect of the product a great big tick. For the tiniest bit of added convenience, the Grands Jacket comes equipped with a mesh inner pocket too which is perfect for storing gloves or goggles when they aren’t in use.

With a breathable 3-layer membrane, Armada have made this jacket and pants with the intention of being able to take a beating. Whether that comes about in the backcountry or as a direct impact of bring playful in the park, you know that the material will stretch and conform to ensure it avoids tears or permanent damage.

Armada have also included pit vents and leg vents for the warmer spring days, yet also maintaned a 10K/10K membrane to keep body moisture from condensing on the inside of the jacket. Armada’s standard fit is as described, not too baggy nor too slim, and allows room for optional layering and enough range of movement to remain comfortable throughout the whole day.

The pants, it’s worth nothing, do come attached to adjustable suspenders which can provide a more custom and unique fit depending on how you like to ride your kit. As a jacket and pants combination for customers who are after a timeless look, but also want to buy into the brand responsible for producing some of freeskiing’s most memorable movies and moments over the last decade, the Grands Jacket and Emmons bib perfectly suit the bill. Sleek and steezey, this combo has all the technical specs to ensure you remain perfectly warm and protected on the mountain. It will also make you feel the part too, which we all know is just as important.
