You know how it is, you’re a big manly man who really fancies going to a yoga class, but you can’t – because you just can’t find a yoga bag manly enough for your big manly self.
Well worry no more! This company has found the answer, with its ‘brogamats’, a yoga mat butch enough to let you do your downward dog and still keep your dude kudos.
Thicker, longer and grippier, they mats come in designs like burritos, logs and other masculine and cylindrical objects.
Of course we’re joking a little bit as no one really needs to man up to go to yoga, but these mats are pretty fun and we’re pretty fond of the burrito design, as well as the ethos behind the company.
“Brogamats was founded on the belief that yoga practitioners defy simple categorization, and include people of all walks of life, all genders, all Lululemon budgets, and all levels of earthy pretentiousness,” says the Brogamats site.
“We are avid yogaphiles who felt the range of yoga products currently available was frustratingly narrow, so we decided to start designing our own.”
The company also makes toys for children that aim to take the emphasis away forward and conflict in early years and aim children’s thoughts towards a more peaceful way of building relationships.
The next goal on the company list is to make mats that are specifically tailored to men’s bodyweight and size.
