The Enforcer series from Nordica has quickly established itself as a category-defining range of skis that sit within the ever expanding all-mountain / freeride class. The Enforcer 100 blends a traditional shape and playful rocker profile with a burly construction that lives up to the Enforcer name, bringing exceptional power and stability across the entire mountain.

Nordica Enforcer 100 Build

A big reason why the Enforcer became such a class-leading all-mountain ski was thanks to its unrivalled stability and power at speed. This stability largely comes from the metal chassis that the Enforcer is based around.

For 2022, dual titanal layers make up the Enforcer’s backbone. These layers run for the full length of the ski and have been contoured to cover the full width at the tips and tails, before tapering towards the midsection and underfoot. Nordica has done this to make the skis a little more forgiving thanks to the easier turn initiation that extra bit of flex will give you.

Sitting above this metal layer is a Nordica’s Carbon Chassis. This chassis is made up of carbon and fibreglass strips that run the length of the ski in order to further boost the Enforcer’s dampening while only marginally increasing weight

The Poplar / Beech core has been extended for the full length of the ski, to cover the tips and tails. This replaced the ABS plastic inserts found on the original Enforcers. Nordica has tapered this core so that it becomes thinner towards the tips. This not only helps to reduce weight, but it also helps to add further playfulness and maneuverability to the Enforcer 100 – thinner tips equal softer tips which then equals a more playful ski.

Nordica Enforcer 100 Shaping

A fresh rocker profile comes new for the 2022 Enforcer 100. This profile features more tip and tail rocker which Nordica claims is split up into 30% rocker in the tips, 50% camber underfoot and 20% rocker in the tails. The increased tail rocker will further help keep the Enforcer 100s manoeuvrable in tight terrain and loose in soft snow.

The Enforcer comes with what we’d call a pretty traditional shape. The 133 mm tip, 100 mm waist and 121 mm tail feature very little tapering. This brings a 18.4 metre radius for the 186 cm length.

Who Is The Nordica Enforcer 100 For?

This middle of the road radius, combined with the softer tip and new rocker profile create a ski that’s able to remain nimble in tight terrain, yet still retains that stability we’ve come to know and love with the Enforcer series.

If you’re an aggressive skier who values stability at speed then you’ve most likely heard of, or already skied on, the Enforcer 100. If you haven’t then you need to give these a blast to see what all the hype is about.
